What an introduction tells you
A concierge reviews profile information and prepares an introduction. Profile answers come from the member; they are not a guarantee of identity, character or compatibility. Do not treat a shared community, an introduction or an AI image as proof that someone is safe. You may decline a proposal or stop seeing someone.
Coffee Portraits are illustrations
Your Coffee Portrait is generated from a private source photo. You choose the portrait used on your profile. It is not a photograph documenting a date, an identity certificate or a background check. The people shown in our public marketing images and app examples are illustrative, not member testimonials.
Before your coffee date
Review the proposed profile and share your availability. Your concierge coordinates the time and chooses a public café. Plan your own travel and consider telling someone you trust where you will be. You do not need to share a home address, send money to a date or continue a conversation that makes you uncomfortable. Meeting once does not commit you to another date.
Child safety standards
Talo is for adults aged 18 and over. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including grooming, sexual solicitation of minors and child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in all profiles, images and conversations. Report a concern through the in-app report control, your private concierge chat or support@withtalo.com. Do not upload, forward or email suspected abusive material. Talo reviews reports, removes prohibited content and restricts offending accounts, and reports confirmed CSAM to the appropriate national or regional authority as required by law. Our child safety contact is support@withtalo.com. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Who can read a message
Concierge Direct is between you and your concierge. Coffee Group messages go immediately to the members of that group and the concierge. A concierge's presence does not mean each message is checked before delivery. Use Direct for a concern you do not want to discuss with your date.
If something feels wrong
Use your private concierge chat to explain the concern and the relevant date or conversation. You can also email support@withtalo.com, including before registration or if you cannot use the app. Share only the information needed to explain the issue; never email a password or a verification code. Talo is not an emergency service. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Community rules
Threats, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, scams and sharing another person’s private information are not allowed.
Report or block
Use Report or block on a profile, or the … menu in a group chat. Reports go privately to Talo for human review. A report does not automatically block someone. Blocking makes shared chats and introductions unavailable and prevents new introductions. For help, open your private concierge conversation in Chats.
Blocking and leaving
You can block a member or stop search in the app. Blocking prevents new access and actions involving that person; it does not silently erase existing Coffee Date records. You can also choose Exit after a date. A Ticket purchase, a shared background or another person's interest never obliges you to continue.
